About Me.
I am fascinated by the ways human beings shape their surroundings to reflect both practical needs and deeper aspirations. Architecture, for me, is where this curiosity meets my love of art and design. Over time, I have come to see how my political and personal values are inseparable from my professional practice. Today, I am most passionate about design that minimizes environmental impact while fostering awareness of sustainability within the communities it serves.

As a fully licensed architect, I bring expertise in sustainable design, client engagement, project management, and graphic communication. My undergraduate thesis at RPI (Troy, NY) explored the architectural tensions between the natural and synthetic worlds, setting the foundation for my professional journey. At Aedis Architects (San Jose, CA), I led projects focused on sustainable design for educational spaces—from public schools to community colleges—working closely with students, teachers, parents, and administrators to create environments that make a lasting, positive difference.

Beyond practice, I am a dedicated advocate for sustainability, equity, and education. I have served in leadership roles with the Silicon Valley AIA’s Committee on the Environment (COTE) and Women in Architecture (WIA), and I’ve contributed graphic design expertise to major design conferences, including Architectural Intelligence and the Women’s Leadership Summit. I also mentor middle and high school students interested in architecture and environmental issues, helping to inspire the next generation of changemakers.
